By now, I am sure you have heard of the many awesome workshops that myself and the other ACE Peer advisors put on to help students like you better navigate your major, your classes, and all sorts of other things that make up life as a student. This spring semester will feature many of these workshops, which will cover environmental design drafting, starting an honors thesis as an Environmental Design, Environmental Studies or Geography student, and how to find and apply for scholarship opportunities. Keep an eye out for future blog posts, as well as posters and emails from your advisor regarding when and where these workshops will be held.
This semester will also feature a great workshop for Environmental Design students covering the basics of Revit, put on by the AIAS team. This workshop will be held on Saturday, February 10 in the ENVD computer lab. In this workshop, students can receive an introductory lesson into Revit from a professional in the field of architecture. No previous Revit experience is necessary and this event is open to anyone and no sign up is required. We hope to see you at one of our many upcoming workshops. If there is a topic you think should be covered in one of our workshops, please let your academic advisor or one of the ACE peer advisors know and we will do our best to make it happen.
